Cedar Hill Landscape Development was founded by Justin Vancil in 2008, but there is more to the story...After graduating from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree in May, 2004, Justin promptly gained employment at a leading landscape design/build firm near Columbia, South Carolina. After two years of learning the ropes in high-end landscape practices while working for large-scale developers, architects, engineers and homeowners, Justin was called on to manage the Design Group division. The next two years were spent leading the design and administration portions of projects of all sizes and scopes. The experience was invaluable, but Justin was continually looking for something more challenging and satisfying. An entrepreneurial spirit was burning and the need for free thought and expression was calling. In June 2008, Justin moved back home to Southern Illinois and started Cedar Hill Landscape Development. Cedar Hill is a design/build company that prides itself on providing the most professional, turn-key landscape services in Southern Illinois.
