Cedar Hill was founded by Justin Vancil in 2008. But, there is more to the story...
Justin was born and raised in Southern Illinois, and after graduating from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree in 2004, he promptly gained employment at a leading design/build firm near Columbia, South Carolina. The four years that followed were priceless in countless ways and many successful projects were completed during that time. But, something was missing. An entrepreneurial spirit was burning and the desire for independence and free thought was calling. In the summer of 2008, Justin moved back home to Southern Illinois and founded Cedar Hill.
Named after the road Justin grew up on, Cedar Hill is a full-service landscape company focused on developing high-quality projects that are built to last. By utilizing proven and innovative design and construction practices we can ensure the long-term value and uniqueness of each project we complete.
